The world
has realized the importance of women’s education and Nurturing Minds is on the forefront of providing quality education
to girls in Tanzania. We offer underprivileged girls both a remedial and boarding school experience allowing them to graduate
with a high school diploma and the knowledge and skills which will allow them to become leaders in their community, and
pursue employment opportunities that would otherwise have been out of their reach.
As an individual sponsor, group of friends, company, or club, Nurturing Minds is currently
seeking sponsors for their remedial education
program and offers three levels of sponsorship allowing for
financial
flexibility for each sponsor.

My name is Saraphina Jackson Alex. I
was born in 1995. We live in Lukobe, Morogoro. In my family we are 3 children, girls only. My sister who is the first born
is married and our second born is at home and I am the last born. I stay with my aunt as my mom died in 2002 and my dad is
in Bukoba. I dropped out of school in Standard 6 in 2008 because I have no one to pay for my school costs. After dropping
out I have been helping my aunt to cultivate different crops. I heard the SEGA news from the village Chair and I told my aunt
who went to take the forms. I filled the forms and sat for the exam at Mkundi primary school. I felt very happy after being
selected by SEGA because I heard that there is a a good learning environment at SEGA. I want to become a teacher so that I
can teach effectively and achieve my objectives. I want to help my young siblings and relatives and other people. Thank you

Sponsorship Levels Scholarship
Sponsor** $720 annually: Provides your student with teachers, books, transportation
to the day program, and recreation/sports equipment (**Scholarship Sponsers will
be limited to three per individual student) Tree of Knowledge Sponsor
$2,500 annually: Provides your student with teachers, books, transportation to the day
program, and recreation/sports equipment, plus medical examinations, hot meals, uniforms, and an investment in the development
of the campus. Angel Sponsor $5,000 annually: Provides
your student with teachers, books, transportation to the day program, and recreation/sports equipment, plus medical examinations,
hot meals, uniforms, and an investment in the development of the campus. In additon, your donation will include an
investment in the future of the Sega school through support of the Sega Residential Program.
